candy corn punch recipe

Make your Halloween gathering stand out from the crowd with this creative Candy Corn punch. You can prepare this delicious recipe as a single large batch to display in a pitcher or you can make them in single-serving glasses to keep the layered effect going for individual guests. It only takes about 20 minutes to prepare but you will need to let it chill in the refrigerator for 1 1/2-2 hours prior to serving (or 45 minutes if you are making it by the glass).

Ingredient List

1 Box of Lemon Flavor Jell-O or similar brand of gelatin

1 Cup of boiling water

2 Cups of mango nectar

3 1/2 Cups of chilled orange soda (I like to use Sunkist)

1 Cup whipped cream or similar whipped topping

2 tablespoons of honey

Optional: Garnish with candy corns

Makes 8 ounces – you can double each of the ingredients in the recipe to make a larger batch.

How to make it:

Step 1: Combine the gelatin and boiling water in a large mixing bowl and stir until the gelatin is fully dissolved.

Step 2: Gently stir in the mango nectar and pour into a large clear serving pitcher.  A 2-quart size works well.

Step 3: Cover and chill for approximately 2 hours to chill. Tip: Do not allow gelatin to fully set.

Step 4: Slowly pour the orange soda over the top of the gelatin mixture. Pour over the back of a large wooden spoon for best results.

Step 5: Combine whipped cream and honey in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until straight peaks begin to form.

Step 6: Spoon over the top of the punch and add candy corn garnish. Tip: You can also use orange and yellow crystallized sugar as a garnish if you don’t like the idea of candy floating in your drink.
